Beginning Farmer Learn & Network is taking place on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Appleman Farms in Turbotville, PA (Northumberland County) and the Turbotville Community Hall. This event will provide an opportunity for beginning farmers to learn about small ruminant forage systems, the relationship to soil health, and share information about how to receive technical and financial assistance.
Dinner is included and there is no cost to participate, but registration is required by Monday, March 10, 2025

Grafting & Grazing at Greene Kitchen Farm with Russ Wilson and Joshua Greene will take place on May 1st from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Topics include: grafting basics, bench-grafting and bud-grafting, top-working pasture trees, techniques for successfully top-working of older trees, and protection systems and adaptive grazing considerations in silvopasture.
